Bank of Baroda conduct clerk exam every year

Eligibility:
Candidate should be a citizen of India.

Candidates should pass with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman) in 10+2/Intermediate/HSC or a degree in any discipline from recognized university

Candidates should be able to write and speak English fluently.

Knowledge of local/state language

Computer literate with proficiency in Ms-office, Basic applications, Internet usage etc

Age limit:
Age should be between 18 to 28 years


Tentative Dates:
Start date for Online Registration 30.06.2014

Online Payment of Application Fees 30.06.2014 to 16.07.2014

Last date for Online Registration 16.07.2014

Download of Call letter for Examination From 04.08.2014

Date of Examination (Tentative) 14.08.2014 (Thursday)

Selection Process
Candidates shall be selected on the basis of an (open) online exam followed by Group Discussion AND Interview.

The details of Clerk exam of Bank of Baroda as you want to apply for the exam is as follows:

Educational qualification:

A Pass with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen) in HSC of 10 + 2 (10+2+3) pattern / 11th Standard of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. Admn.

(OR)

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government.

Age Limit :

The candidate should have completed a Minimum age of 18 years and should not have completed a Maximum age of 28 years

Bank of Baroda Clerical Cadre Examination Syllabus


There is no fixed syllabus. However in previous papers following areas are covered

1. English

Questions mainly from Passage Comprehension, Common Errors, Sentence Improvement,Fill in the blanks, Cloze Test ,
Paragraph Rearrangement and Antonyms and Synonyms

2. Numerical Ability

Questions mainly from simplification and few questions from Numbers system, HCF and LCM, Square Roots, Interest,Percentage, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Partnership ,Time and Work and Time and Distance, Number Series, Permutaiion and Combination, Alligation and Mixtures, Mensuration , Data Interpretation (mainly from tables and bar diagrams)

3. Reasoning Ability

Questions mainly from Alphabet Test, Number Series Test, Odd Man Out, Analogy, Arrangement, Coding and Decoding, Blood Relation, Distance and Direction, Calendar, Symbol and Notation, Statement and Conclusion and Data Sufficiency

4. Clerical Aptitude

Questions, mainly from Address matching ,News classify etc.


5. Socio-Economic, Banking Awareness

Questions mainly from socio-economic and Banking Awareness.

6. Computer Awareness

Questions mainly from History of Computer Development ,Types of Computer, Computer Languages , Computer Arithmetic ,Computer Hardware ,Computer Software ,Computer Network ,Internet etc.
