Duties
Maintaining MVS and VM Global Mainframe environments.

Evaluate Mainframe alerts generated in TBSM & TEP and take appropriate
actions to resolve and escalate when necessary.

Perform weekly IPLs through the use of the Hardware Console (HMC) and
System Automation product (SA390).

Proficient skills to troubleshoot and resolve all Mainframe component issues
which include but not limited to; VM MVS JES2 JES3 IMS CICS DB2 and
MQseries.


Skills required

Strong MS Office skills

Excellent oral and written communication

Adaptable to change

Willingness to learn new skills within a team environment

Flexibility to cover shift work and potential Disaster Recovery exercises /
events

Proven ability to coordinate end to end problem resolution

Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably Remedy
