Bangalore University, invites the application for the admission to Doctor of Philosophy program in the faculties of Science, Arts, Commerce and Education offered in various subjects

Eligibility Criteria:

Students must have obtained a post graduate degree from a recognized university securing not less than 55% marks

Application Procedure :

Applicants can obtain application form from official site of Bangalore University

Applicants must submit duly filled-in application through online to the Finance Officer, Bangalore University S.B. A/C No. 64144997173 of State Bank of Mysore.

fees of Rs.2000/- for entrance and Rs. 1500/- for non entrance Applicants (50% of the prescribed fee for SC/ST and category-I Applicants)

Selection Procedure

Students selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the institute.

Students who have cleared the UGC/UGC-CSIR JRF test/ NET/ SLET/ SET/ GATE shall be eligible for exemption from the entrance test.

Tentative Dates:

Last date for submission of application form: second week of October , 2015.

Date of entrance test: third week of November , 2015

Announcement of answer key: Saturday, last week of November, 2015.
