Established in 1943, The department of Music has been one of the oldest departments of Banasthali.

The faculty comprises of Music & Dance and Visual Arts. Each of these departments offers Bachelor's and Master's programme.

M.A.

Minimum Eligibility : Bachelor's Degree from Banasthali or recognized by Banasthali University as equivalent thereto.

Admission : Based on Aptitude test.

M.Phil Music (Vocal/ Instrumental)

Minimum Eligibility : Master's Degree in Music (Vocal/ Instrumental) from Banasthali or a recognized examination equivalent thereto with aggregate equal to or more than 55% or B.A. with atleast 48% aggregate followed by M.A. with atleast 48% aggregate.

Admission : Based on Aptitude test.

M.Phil. (Drawing & Painting) :

Eligibility: Master's Degree in Drawing & Painting from Banasthali or a recognized examination equivalent thereto with aggregate equal to or more than 55% or B.A. with atleast 48% aggregate followed by M.A. with atleast 48% aggregate.
