I would like to tell you that under Education department The post graduate course in Education of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University was started from the year 1963.

In the early years M.Ed. Course was conducted at Government College of Education and Marathwada college of Education alternately for many years.

In the year 2006, the Department of Education was established in University Campus. Former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Nagnath Kotapalle and Dean Dr. Ganesh Shetkar took initiative for it.

In the M.Ed. Course, Research methodology is a compulsory subject.
