I have completed 12th and now want to do B. Tech so please suggest me that which courses is best among B. Tech Genetic Engineering and B. Tech Biotech?

Both B. Tech Genetic Engineering and B. Tech Biotech are best, if you completed your 12th with PCM then you are eligible for both courses but if you are form PCB then you are eligible for B. Tech Biotech only.

B. Tech Genetic Engineering:
B. Tech. Genetic Engineering involves the introduction of foreign DNA or synthetic genes into the organism of interest. This course contains traditional breeding methods used for the propagation of recombinant organisms.


B. Tech Biotechnology:
B. Tech Biotechnology consist of use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bio-products. Biotechnology encompasses a wide range of procedures for modifying living organisms according to human purposes; going back to domestication of animals, cultivation of plants.
