B.Sc IAS

I have done B.Sc and now I want to apply for Indian Administrative Service IAS exam so can I eligible to apply for this exam?

Indian Administrative Services IAS Exam is a Civil Services exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC every year in the month of May to select candidates in the Central Government and its various departments

Yeah, you are eligible to apply for Indian Administrative Services IAS Exam after B.Sc.

IAS Exam Eligibility

Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Candidates having professional and technical qualifications recognised by the government are also eligible.

Those who are appearing in the final year exam can also apply.

Candidates who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical degree Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also appear for the Main Examination.

There is no minimum percentage of marks required to be eligible for taking IAS Exam.

Age Limits:

Candidate age should be between 21 years to 30 years

The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of the SC/ST and other backward classes.

Nationality:

For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India
For other services, a candidate must be either:

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India. or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
