At Calcutta University the Department of Education commenced the B.Ed. (formerly B.T) Course in the year 1934 and recognized by the N.C.T.E

Admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course will follow the norms set by NCTE, the State Government and University of Calcutta.

The UG, B. Ed. and Law Examination candidates will be able to know the centre from where they will be able to appear for the examination.
