Maharashtra BEd CET Exam Dates
Examination - Common Entrance Test (CET):- 14-June-14 (11:00AM - 12:00 PM)
Examination - English Language Content Test (ELCT):- 14-June-14 (1:00PM - 2:00 PM)

Maharashtra BEd CET Paper Pattern:-

-The CET will comprise of the following sections namely, Mental Ability, Teacher Aptitude and General Knowledge of 50 marks
- Duration will be of one hour of objective (multiple choice) questions
-Medium of CET will be Marathi/English only.
-English Language Content Test will be conducted for 50 marks for the candidates who are desirous of seeking admission in English medium colleges.

Reservation:

Category Wise Reservation is as follows:-

Scheduled caste and scheduled caste persons who have adopted Buddhism: 13%
Scheduled tribe: 7%
Normadic tribes ( 28 tribes before January 1990 and similar tribes) (NT-1) B: 2.5%
Normadic tribe (Dhangar and similar tribes) (NT-2) C: 3.5%
Normadic tribe (Vanjari and similar tribes) (NT-3)D : 2%
Other backward classes: 19%
De-notified tribes (14 similar tribes) (VJ/DT): 3%
Total: 50%

Distribution of Seats is as follows --
70 % quota for home universities
28 % quota for universities in Maharashtra other than home universities
02 % quota for universities other than Maharashtra.

Last date of Submitting the filled in Application form Midd of August

Date of Entrance Test : Midd of September

Application Fee: Rs. 1000/-

The Minimum Duration of the programme is two Years.

Medium of Instruction: English and Hindi

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks are eligible for admission to the programme.


Admission Process:

Admission shall be Done on the Basis of the Score obtained in the Entrance Test Conducted by IGNOU all Over India
