Being one of the largest distance educations University in the state of Tamil Nadu, it has been offering a wide range of courses to its varied candidates through Distance education and Open University modes.

Eligibility Criteria for Correspondence B.Ed:
-Candidate should possess a bachelor degree in the stream of Arts/Science/Commerce with an aggregate of 50% marks from the University of Madras/ any recognized University across India.

-A teaching experience of a minimum of 2 years in any Government school/Government-aided/private schools that are recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu is mandatory


Admission Procedure

Qualifying University of Madras B.Ed entrance exam is mandatory for any eligible candidates eager to pursue University of Madras B.Ed course.

The final selection of the candidates to the course is totally based on the marks secured on the entrance exam.
