The Dr BR Ambedkar Open University BAOU offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program of duration 2 years.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Duration

2 years duration but students may take up to 5 years to complete Admissions are done on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Test.

Eligibility-

Bachelor or Higher Degree from a recognized university, and Two years full time regular teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate Teachers in primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognized by the central or state government or a union territory are eligible to take admission.

In-service teachers with :

Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.

The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable.

Selection criteria-

Admissions are done on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Test.
