Barry's degree in athletic training will prepare you to join over 300 Barry alumni working in a variety of settings. The Barry University was established Athletic Training in 1990.

Admission:

The applicants who want to take admission in the Barry’s undergraduate program in athletic training must first apply for admission to Barry University.

Then you can be granted acceptance into the BS in Athletic Training program.

Once the applicant can met all requirements and have completed 24 credits of specific coursework. The applicant can apply for acceptance to the clinical program.

Selection criteria:

Completion of a minimum of 24 credits of specific coursework

SES 181: Athletic Training Pre-Clinical Skills I; SES 281: Athletic Training Pre-Clinical Skills II; BIO 220/220L: Human Anatomy and Lab; SES 220/220L: Prevention of Musculoskeletal Injuries and Lab; SES 212/212L: Emergency Response and Lab completed with all certifications and a grade of C or better.

The applicant must complete the application for and filed with the Program Director.

The applicant has GPA of 2.75 or higher to enter and to remain active in the clinical program.
