Sorry, there are no IIT institutes in India which offers Astrophysics course. Well buddy there are no IIT institutes in India which offers Astrophysics. Other colleges which offer this course a) The Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore, provides research facilities in Astronomy and Astrophysics. b) Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, (Astronomy & Astrophysics). c) Harish Chandra Research Institute, Allahabad, (Astrophysics). d) Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune, (Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics). e) National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Pune, (Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics). f) Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, (Physics, Atmospheric & Space Science, Astronomy and Astrophysics) g) Raman Research Institute, Bangalore (Astronomy & Astrophysics) h) Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, Mumbai (Atmospheric & Space Science) Indian Institute of Science Indian Institute of Science is a public university for scientific research and higher education located in Bangalore, India. It was established in 1909 with active support from Jamsetji Tata it is also locally known as the "Tata Institute Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has an active research group in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Currently this group has five faculty members, working in different areas of astrophysics (Arnab Rai Choudhuri, Chanda J. Jog, Banibrata Mukhopadhyay, Tarun Deep Saini, and Prateek Sharma). It coordinate the Joint Astronomy Programme (JAP) – a programme for training PhD students in astrophysics, jointly run with several collaborating institutes.
