Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Exam is a technical railway exam conducted for recruitment of ALP in Indian railways.

Tentative dates for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Exam

Closing date for application: 17.02.2014 (Monday)
Date of Exam for ALP and other technicians in grade III: 15.06.2014 (Sunday)

Eligibility
Matriculation under 10+2 system/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT

Paper Pattern
The questions will be of objective type with multiple choice and of
General awareness,
Arithmetic,
General intelligence and reasoning,
General science and technical ability

The Question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and local languages.

Duration of the exam will be 90 minutes with approximately 100 to 120 questions.

There shall be 1/3 negative marking for each wrong answer

Selected procedure:
Short listed Candidates for ALP and technician will be short listed for an aptitude test.

They will have to produce vision certificate in per prescribed format during aptitude test.
