ASRB NET Exam is specific qualifying examination for lecturers and assistant professors in state agricultural universities (SAU's) and other agricultural universities (AU). ASRB NET exam eligibility- Masters degree or equivalent in concerned discipline and specialization. A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test. Important Dates: Last date for online application: 08 September 2014 ARS-2014 (Preliminary) Examination and NET-2014(II) during 22/09/2014 to 28 September 2014 Date of ARS (Main): 28 December 2014 Application procedure- Application form is available online on the official website. Applying online:- Logon to the official website of ASRB. Fill all details in online application form. Upload recent passport sized photograph and signature. Pay application fee Submit application Take printout of application form. Exam Fees:- •Un-reserved (UR) (General) - Rs. 1,000/- •Other Backward Class(OBC) (Non-creamy layer) - Rs.1,000/-. •Scheduled Caste(SC) /Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Challenged (PC) - 250/- ASRB NET Syllabus ASRB NET Exam will consists of one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice. The duration of this paper is two hours. Each question carries one mark. These 150 questions will be derived frpm respected disciplines for which the candidates has opted to appear. Following is the minimum marks required for qualifying NET examination Category of candidate - Minimum qualifying marks •Un-reserved(UR) (General) / OBC(Creamy layer) - 55%. •OBC(Non-Creamy layer) - 50%. •SC / ST/ Physically Challenged(PC) Person - 45%. Negative mark:1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the NET examination. The question papers for the exam will be set in both English and Hindi. The answers are to be indicated in OMR sheet with blank ball point pen only. The reason being that no other color pen response is read by the scanner. All others fields in the OMR sheet like name, category,discipline, center, gender etc must be written with black ball point pen only. |

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) conduct National Eligibility Test (NET) exam Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed master's degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline and specialization from recognized University Age limit: Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years Application Procedure: Payment can be made through debit card/credit card from any bank. The candidates are not required to attach copy of any of the documents/ certificates at the time of submission of online application. Paper Pattern: There will be one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice questions Each question carries one mark. Duration: 2 hours.
