Exam Pattern and Syllabus of ASRB Assistant
Exam pattern– The exam paper will be subjective type paper which will contain the subjects-
Noting, Drafting & précis Writing
Office Procedure and practice generally and also specifically with reference to the ICAR
General Knowledge of constitution of India and Machinery of Govt. Practice and procedure in Parliament
General Financial and Service Rules

Each subject paper will be of 100 marks and 2 hours of time duration.

Exam Syllabus-

Section 1 (Noting, Drafting & précis Writing)- Prepare notes and drafts on specific problems and passages.

Section2 (Office Procedure and practice generally and also specifically with reference to the ICAR)- Methods and procedures in ICAR, study well about ICAR and related works, administrative issues of ICAR

Section 3 (General Knowledge of constitution of India and Machinery of Govt. Practice and procedure in Parliament)- Knowledge of Constitution of india, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Government of India policies and rules

Section 4 (General Financial and Service Rules)- Fundamental and Supplementary rules, central civil services pension rules 1972, central civil services (conduct) rules 1964, central civil services (Classification control and appeal) rules1965, Compilation of general Financial Rules, Delegation of powers in ICAR, Rules and bye laws of iCAR, ARS booklet brought out by ICAR, handbook of Tech services brought out by indian Council of Agricultural Research, revised leave rules
