The UGC-Human Resource Development Centre Bangalore University, Bengaluru was established on 11th August 2000
It was formally inaugurated by Prof. Hari Goutham, Chairman, UGC, New Delhi.

1 Orienatation Programmes for newly appointed Assistant Professors (28 days)
2 Refresher Courses for in-service teachers (Subject wise, Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary -21 days)
3 Workshop for College Principals/Administrators ( 3 days)
4 Short term courses for research scholars and Non-academic Staff (1 Week)
5 Interaction Programmes for teachers and Post doctoral researchers (21 days).
6 Winter/Summer School (Interdisciplinary/ multidisciplinary-21 days)
