Hello ..i am akshat and have completed my 10 + 2 and want to know that what is the procedure of applying for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) JEE Advanced and also want to know that is it compulsory to clear Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) …for joining B.arch course????

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is the test conducted jointly by 7 Zonal Coordinating Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for the admission to the B.Arch Programme.

This Architecture program is only offered by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee.

JEE Advanced AAT Eligibility Criteria

For JEE Advanced 2018, India nationals (including OCI/PIO) have to appear JEE Main 2018.

Performance in JEE Main 2018:

Candidates should be among the top 2, 24,000 (including all categories) by securing positive marks in Paper 1 of JEE Main 2018.

Age Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or after 1st October 1993.

Relaxation: There is five year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD categories. These candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1988.

Registration for Extended Merit List June 14 - June 15 (23:59 PM)
Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2018 June 14, 2018 (9 AM to 12 Noon)
Announcement of Results June 18, 2018
Start of JoSAA 2018 Registration June 19 to July 15, 2018

AAT 2018 Exam Pattern

The Architecture Aptitude Test will be conducted for maximum 3 Hours duration.

The questions in the paper will be in the English medium only.

Candidates must bring their own drawing and coloring aids at the time of examination.

Questions related to following topics will be included in the Aptitude test such as; Architecture awareness, Three-dimensional perception, Geometry etc.
