The detail of the Assistant Conservator of Forests in Andhra Pradesh Forest Service which is conducted by the APPSC is given below as well as the previous years question paper attached in the file below.

The standard of papers for compulsories will be, for example, might be anticipated from a Graduate. The extent of the syllabus for discretionary paper is of the Honors Degree level. On account of engineering subjects the level compares to the Bachelors Degree.

N.B: 1. All the inquiry papers must be replied in English as it were.

2. Question papers will be set in English as it were.

3. Subject to least qualifying marks for meeting and choice viz; 40% for Ocs; 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs/STs the competitors having a place with SCs/STs/BCs might be called for meeting by unwinding the base qualifying marks at the attentiveness of the Commission; if the Commission is of the feeling that the adequate number of hopefuls from these groups are not prone to come up for meeting..

4. After composed examination qualified hopefuls will be called for meeting (Oral Test) at the proportion of 1:3 class insightful properly taking after the unique representation as set down in General Rule-22 of State and Subordinate Service Rules.

5. A competitor will be required to under go a mobile test furthermore a Medical Examination (Conducted by a Medical Board) before he/she is at last called for meeting. Both the tests might

be masterminded by the Forest Department properly taking simultaneousness of the Commission. Appearance at all papers and tests is obligatory for qualification of candidature for Interview.

Non-attendance at any or the greater part of the papers will render the candidature invalid for the enlistment

Part – A

Written Examination (Conventional Type)
Compulsory Papers:
3 Hours.
150 Marks

1 General Studies
2 General English
3 Hours.
150 Marks

Optional:
One Optional Subject comprising two papers

Optional Paper – 2
3 Hours.

Part – B:

Interview (Oral Test)

60 Marks
