I want to Apply for a school place of Southampton City Council so can you please provide me the details regarding this? Also tell me the dates to apply?

Southampton City Council is the local authority of the city of Southampton. It is a unitary authority, having the powers of a non-metropolitan county and district council combined.

If you pay your council tax to Southampton City Council then you must apply for schools, wherever they are, through their Admissions team.

You can do this online or by post.

You cannot visit the Admissions team in person.

Online applications are accepted for:

Year R, 3 and 7 school places to start in September 2016

Year 10 places at South Wiltshire UTC

Online applications close:

At 23:59 on 31 October 2015 for secondary school year 7

At 23:59 on 15 January 2016 for reception year R and infant to junior school year 3

If your child has a Statement for Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan, you will need to contact the Special Needs Team on 023 8083 3270.

Here I am telling you the process to apply online for school place

Go to the official website of Southampton City Council.

Then click on “Apply for a school place”

Now click on the green Colour tab “Apply for your school place”

Then a new page will open.



On this page you have to login first.

Enter your email address and password and then click on login button.

Then you will get the online application form of school change.
