The Assam Public Service Commission was founded on 1st April, 1937. Shri Kameswar Das, an educationist of repute of Assam, was the first non-official Chairman of the Commission.

It is a body created by the Constitution of India. The provisions relating to Public Service Commission have been laid down in Chapter-II of Part-XIV of the Constitution.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed in the HSC from any recognized the Board of Secondary Education of Govt. Assam. –

Selection Process: -
Applicants will be selected on the basis of a written tests and interview.
