Indian Air Force has issued a notification for the recruitment of Commissioned Officer vacancies for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying & Permanent Commission (PC)/ Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 01/ 2017.

Eligible candidates can apply online from 03-12-2016 to 29-12-2016.

Age Limit:
One’s age should be between 20-24 years for S.No-1, 20-26 years for S.No-2 & 3 as on 01-01-2018.
Upper age limit for one holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years for S.No-1.

Educational Qualification:
One should possess:
Graduation (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline or BE/ B Tech degree (Four year course) or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India for S.No-1,
Minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four year degree graduation/integrated post- graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology for S.No-2 (a)

Selection Process:
One is selected based on Intelligence Test, screening test, Psychological, Group Tests & interview.
