Any re-exam, if fail in 1 sub in 2nd SEM, after completing whole semester

Tell me is there being any re-exam if I fail in one subject in 2nd semester of engineering after completion of whole semester exam???

Generally if you have a backlog in second semester then you should have to sit for the re-exam in the next year.

You will have to give the exam with the next year's students.
