Ansal University (AU) was established in 2012 under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006 (previously known as Ansal Institute of Technology) which was a private college.
AIT was affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and was established in August 2000 under the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust. Now it has become a private university, Ansal University. Sushant School of Art and Architecture is also on the same campus.
