Candidate should be a Native of Tamil Nadu.

Age Limit:
Candidates should have completed Seventeen years of age .

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination .

Candidates should study following group of subjects and securing minimum eligible marks.
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. (or)
Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.

Minimum Eligibility Marks :
Other Communities :
Minimum of 60% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together.

Minimum of 60% marks in each of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry.

Backward Class :
Minimum of 60% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together.
Minimum of 60% marks in each of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry.

Method of Selection and Admission :
Ranking will be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the science subjects in the qualifying examinations.

Qualification for Annamalai University MBBS Admissions

You should be a Citizen of India.

Overseas citizens of India who are registered under section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955) are eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS courses subject to the production of proof of such registration.


Applicants should have completed Seventeen years of age

Evidence should be produced.

Applicants should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Course conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board/any other
equivalent Board in a single sitting with the following group of subjects and securing minimum eligible marks.

a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. (or)

(b) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.
