The University conducts exams in the months of December and May. At the end of each semester, the Annamalai University DDE Exam Time Table December and May are released by the university.

The Annamalai University is a state university and is located in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu.

The University is established on January 01, 1929 as per the Annamalai University Act 1928 (Tamil Nadu Act 1 of 1929).

The University of Annamalai is spread across 950 acres with 49 departments of study and 10 faculties.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) had accredited University with A Grade in 2014.
