Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test or TANCET is the state level MBA entrance exam for Tamil Nadu which is conducted by Anna University for the MBA admission to the participating management institutes of the state. It is a paper pencil based test containing objective type multiple choice questions.

TANCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2018

One should obtain a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates). Anna University has prescribed the following degree qualification criteria:

10+2+3 years pattern (or)

10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern (or)

B.E./B. Tech./B.Arch./B. Pharm. (or)

10+2+AMIE (or) 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE

TANCET MBA Exam Pattern 2018
It will be objective in nature and be completed in two hours; to be conducted in a paper-pencil based mode. Itwill be conducted in English with only five sections. The question paper has the following sections:

Reading Comprehension

English Grammar & Usage

Analysis of Business Situation

Quantitative Ability

Data Sufficiency

There might be a few questions on verbal activity, basic science, etc.
