Anna University Percentage For First Class
I am doing my BE from the Anna University and want to know about the percentage criteria for first class degree. Can you please tell me the percentage criteria for first class degree from the Anna University? Also tell me how can I convert my result into CGPA score of Anna University? Anna University conducts End Semester Examinations at the months of April/May/June and in the months of November/December/January every year for all UG/PG programmes When Anna University publishes results for a student, the External Marks (Theory Examination written by the student out of 100 marks) is converted to 80 marks and the Internal Marks got by the student out of 20 is added to the 80 marks (so, 80+20=100 marks) and the final results are published in Letter Grades. Refer the below table : The candidates satisfying the following conditions shall be declared to have passed the examinations in first class: (i). A candidate who qualifies for the award of the Degree having passed the examination in all the courses of all the eight semesters within a maximum period of five consecutive years (Ten consecutive semesters) reckoned from the commencement of study in the first semester including authorized Break of Study. (ii). The candidate should have secured a CGPA of not less than 6.50 in all the courses prescribed for first semester to eight semesters.
