Andhra University, Directorate of Admissions has issued notification for Research Admissions into Full-Time and Part-Time M.Phil./PhD Programs in Arts, Science, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Law Faculties for the year 2018. PhD Eligibility Criteria Full-Time PhD Program- Postgraduate degree holders with at least 55% of marks (50% in the case of SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA in the concerned subject or in an allied subject or any other PG Degree recognised by the University as equivalent thereto prescribed in eligibility criteria can apply They must qualify in AURCET-2018 Part-Time PhD Program- In-Service candidates satisfying the above eligibility conditions can apply for part-time. Admission into part-time programs will be made by preparing merit order by considering rank and service weightage Important Dates Issue of Press Notification: 2nd week of June 2018 Commencement of Submission of Online Applications: 2nd week of June 2018 Last Date for Submission of Online Applications: 2nd week of July 2018 Last Date for Submission of Online Applications with late fee of Rs.1000/-: 3rd week of July 2018 Last Date for Submission of online Applications with Special late fee of Rs.3000/-: 4th week of July 2018 Last date for submission of online Applications with Special late fee of Rs.5000/-: 1st week of August 2018 Commencement of Examinations: 2nd week of August 2018 Date of Results: 4th week of August 2018 Commencement of Admissions (Tentative): 1st week of September 2018 AURCET-Exam Pattern AURCET for each subject/dept. consists of one paper with multiple-choice objective type questions including oral exam; this Paper contains 20 questions in Research Methodology with 20 marks, 70 questions in concerned subject with 70 marks After the written exam there is an oral exam for 10 marks will be conducted in Departments by the concerned DRC; the minimum qualifying marks in AURCET-2018 is 25 marks and no minimum marks for SC/ST/PHC category students Contact- Andhra University Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530003 |
