It provides admission into M.Tech. (Food Processing Technology) course .

Eligibility Criteria :

Applicants wants to pursue master's degree programme in Food Processing Technology must possess a Four Years Bachelor‘s degree B.Tech. / B.E. Degree in Dairy Technology / Food Engineering / Agri. Engineering / Food Technology / Food Processing Technology / Chemical Engineering with minimum O. G. P. A. of not less than 6.00 (10.00 basis) or its equivalent in aggregate.

Food preservation - definition, advantages, mechanisms and techniques of food preservations. Blanching, pasteurization and sterilization - definition, types and equipment. Chilling - principle, systems, chill injury and chill storage conditions for various fruits and vegetables.
