As you want to want to write CAT Exam and asking info to do Analysis of it , so I am telling here that I know ; CAT (Common Admission Test) is national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), Its scores are used for admission to various management courses across the country. CAT Analysis of 2015 My info in following flow Division of Sections Section Sub-sections Questions VA RC Verbal Ability (10 Qs) 34 Reading Comprehension (24 Qs) DILR Data Interpretation (16 Qs) 32 Logical Reasoning (16 Qs) QA 34 Reading Comprehension Passage 1 (Incas) 6 Easy Read Medium difficulty Passage 2 (Women Fashion) 6 Complex Read Easy Passage 3 (Africa Congo) 6 Complex Read Easy to Medium Passage 4 (ICT Revolution & Housing prices) 6 Easy Read Easy to Medium Passage 5 (UP Water problems) 3 Easy Read Easy Verbal Ability (10 questions) This section has a total of 10 questions. Some of the questions were from: Para jumble series 4 questions Odd-one-out 1 question Summary of paragraph 3 questions Overall difficulty level: Easy Good Attempt: 23 to 25 questions with 100% accuracy CAT 2015 Analysis – DILR section Section Questions Sets DI 16 4 sets (Two data-based sets, One graph One table) LR 16 4 sets Total 32 8 Overall difficulty level: Difficult Good Attempt: 15 to 17 questions with 100% accuracy Analysis of CAT 2015 Paper– QA section Topic No of questions Geometry 6 Formulas 9 Ratio & sequence 5 Time, Speed & Distance 2 Percentage 2 Apart from the above, the section also had questions from Linear equations Quadratic equations Inequalities Surds & indices Time Circles Triangles Polygons Alligations & mixtures Permutation combination Time based questions However, there were quite a few sitters.
