Aligarh Muslim University is a public university funded by the Government of India. It was originally established by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan as Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College in 1875.

Eligibility Criteria


Age: Candidates must be of 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2016

Educational Qualification:

Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of this University or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for AMU MBBS BDS


Paper pattern :

The exam will be conducted for a total of 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
Each correct response will consist of one mark
Duration of the exam will be of 3 hours
