Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University conducted Amrita Graduate Entrance Test (AGET) for admissions to various postgraduate engineering programmes (M.Tech) offered across its three campuses located in Coimbatore, Amritapuri, and Bengaluru.

The University will offer M.Tech admission 2018 to both GATE and non-GATE candidates.

GATE qualified candidates can get direct admission to the programmes based on their valid GATE Score.

However, non-GATE candidates need to appear and qualify AGET 2018.

The application form of Amrita M.Tech 2018 admission was available from February 22 to June 6, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to pass BE/B.Tech/M.Sc in the relevant area of specialization or equivalent qualification

Candidates must obtain at least 60% of marks in the qualifying examination.

To direct admission in Amrita University, candidates must have a valid GATE 2018 score.

Selection Procedure -

For direct admissions-

Candidates are selected based on their valid GATE scores along with performance in interview.

For non-GATE candidates-

Selection will be done based on the written test and performance in the interview.
