Amrita MBBS 2016 has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016.

Now, admission in all state-level and private medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET 2016 results only.

Amrita MBBS Eligibility

Applicants should have passed 10+2 with 60% marks in first attempt in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

Apart from that candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in English.

Age range to apply for Amrita University MBBS 2016 is 17-23 years

NEET 2018 Exam Pattern

Exam will be conducted through offline mode (pen and paper based mode).

Total 180 questions will be asked in the exam.

There will be objective type questions (four options with one correct answer).

Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Zoology & Botany) subjects.

Exam Duration: The exam duration will be 3 hours.

Language: Question paper will be asked in 11 languages like English, Hindi, Tamil, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Oriya, Urdu Marathi and Telugu languages.

Marking Scheme: Four marks will be given for each correct answer (+4 Marks).

Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer (-1 Mark).
