The Amity University is a Government Recognized University. And UGC is a Recognized. Amity University has UGC approval. The Amity Universities is offering Degrees awarded are recognized by the UGC. Amity University is a full fledged university and not a deemed university. In other hand The University Grants Commission of India is a statutory body set up by the Indian Union government in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 under Ministry of Human Resource Development, and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education. The UGC is provides recognition to universities in India, and disburses funds to such recognised universities and colleges.
