Amity University Military Training Camp
When the amity university will organize the military camp? I want to join this camp so tell me the procedure of joining also provide me the information regarding the rules and the regulation during the military training in amity university?

Re: Amity University Military Training Camp The aim of Military Training Camp is:- To inculcate an essence of camaraderie and brotherhood amongst the students of different Amity Institutions. To bring in Synergy and Team Spirit among participants. To provide an opportunity to the participants to understand the work ethos and the broader details about the Armed Forces. To provide facilities for adventure related training and sports activities in an eco – friendly and pollution free environment. To expose the students to subjects of general awareness such as disaster management, Nuclear, Biological, Chemical and Radiological Threat and counter measures etc. To inculcate the habit of participation in group activities and group discussions. To expose the students to the essentials of physical well-being and fitness. ORGANISATION OF CAMP For smooth running of the camp, following training and administrative staff has been placed at Amity Education Valley, Manesar:- I. Camp Commandant - Col Ravinder Singh II. Camp Administrative JCO - Subedar K S Shekhawat for girls camp and Sub & Hony. Capt BK Singh for boys camp. III. Training Staff - Four to five ex - Army Instructors DURATION For PG Students, the Camp will be held for a duration of six days, including the day of arrival and departure. The camp usually commences on Sundays and concludes on Fridays. For UG students, the camp is of five days duration, commencing on Wednesdays and terminating on Sundays. UNIFORM All participants will be provided with disruptive pattern uniform, Cap FS and web belt for the duration of the camp. Participants are required to maintain and look after the uniforms issued to them. Participants will bring their own footwear (sports shoes /jungle shoes /ankle shoes) for training. All participants will observe the following code of conduct :- AUH and AIMC Campus, Residential Accommodation of Staff and Villages in the vicinity of the Camp are placed OUT OF BOUNDS for all. The Camp is being run on the lines of NCC Camp and therefore, strict decorum and discipline is expected, at all times. Students may bring mobile phones to the Camp but use of mobile phone during training is strictly prohibited. During training, the Mobile phones will be kept on 'Silent' mode. Strictly observe the laid down timings for various activities and events. Dress appropriately within and outside the Camp premises. No one will move in chappals outside the Camp. No one will leave the Camp without permission of the Camp Commandant. No naked light inside the tents and do not tamper with the electric connections/plug points. Smoking within the Camp is prohibited. Match boxes and cigarette lighters are not allowed in the camp. Do not order food from outside. Drinking is strictly prohibited. |
