AMIE Exam stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers which is a professional certification provided by Institution of Engineers (India). The AMIE examinations are conducted in every June and December. Eligibility for AMIE Program- Intermediate/ Class 12th passed out in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 45% marks for this purpose or they can be a Diploma holder in a three year polytechnic from any branch of engineering. Important Dates- The winter 2014 Examinations of AMIE shall be conducted in 67 examination centres both in India and abroad during Dec 06 - 12, 2014. Candidates not appeared in Summer 2014 Exams- August 20, 2014 to September 21, 2014 Candidates appeared in Summer 2014 Exams- September 21, 2014 to October 19, 2014 Examination fee: AMIE examination fee is Rs 2000 (rupees two thousand only) for candidates appearing in any center in India $ 150 (one hundred and fifty US dollars) for candidates appearing outside India). Application Procedure - 1. Download Exam Form. 2. Get the print out. 3. Draw DD for exam fee. The DD must draw in favour of "The Institution of Engineers (India)" payable at Kolkata. 4. Write your ST/T number and name in the reverse side of DD. 5. Choose your preferred examination center and note down code number of that center. 6. Fill up exam form. Don’t forget to enter correct DD details, various exam related codes 7. Keep a Xerox copy of filled up exam form and DD for future reference. 8.
