AMIE is the Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers Exam .it is an engineering entrance examination offers various engineering degree courses to those applicants who are unable to pursue these through regular study in engineering colleges.

AMIE offers separate papers for Diploma Stream and Non Diploma Stream.

AMIE Diploma Stream:
Material Science
Engineering Mathematics
Elements of Electrical Engineering and Electronics
Elements of Computer Science
Society, Environment and Engineering

AMIE Non-Diploma Stream:
Mathematics II
Mathematics I
Engineering Drawing and Graphics
Electrical Science
Material Science and Processes
Fundamentals of Electronics and Instrumentation
Computer System and Data Analysis
Engineering, Environment and Society
Mechanical Science
Natural Science

Eligibility
Applicants minimum age of 18 years on the date of application for selection.

Educational Qualification:
For Technician Members:

Applicants can directly become Technician Member if he / she has a minimum qualification of a pass in the Standard XII Examination with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.

For Senior Technician Membership:

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
A minimum age of Applicants is 18 years on the date of application for selection or transfer.
Applicants should be an engineer by profession working under a Corporate Member

Applicants should have passed a diploma examination in engineering or technology or its equivalent

Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) conduct entrance exam for giving admission in engineering courses.

Here I am giving you detailed information about it:

Eligibility for AMIEExam:

Candidate must have 10+2/HSC/PDC passed certificate with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks.

Candidates who are having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering is also eligible to apply.

AMIE Examination Fee:

AMIE examination fee is Rs 2000for candidates appearing in any center in India.

$ 150 for candidates appearing outside India
