Yes, you Are Eligible to give the AMIE Exam the Information About the AMIE Exam is as Follow The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work, Laboratory experiments and Section B examination of the Institution. The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development considers this qualification equivalent to a degree in engineering. An applicant becomes an Associate of the Institution of Engineers (AIE) by passing this examination completely Eligibility Criteria 1. A recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering. No marks restriction OR 2. +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks. If you possess any qualification equivalent to the above, still then you are eligible to apply for AMIE. Those who pursue AMIE after Diploma course are usually known as Diploma Stream Students, and others Non-Diploma Stream Students. Examination Pattern AIME exams are held twice a year, called Summer and Winter examinations. There are two sections: Section A - 3 papers Section B - 5 papers Each paper is of 3 hours and candidates can appear only limited number of papers at a time. Examination Fees : a) AMIE examination fee is Rs 2000 (rupees two thousand only) for candidates appearing in any center in India b) $ 150 (one hundred and fifty US dollars) for candidates appearing outside India). |
