Here is the brief information of Online MBA Ampus: amherst, massachusetts Type: public Accreditation: aacsb Base program cost: $29,250 Per credit hour: $750 Minimum credit hours: 39 Gmat required: yes Minimum time commitment: 27 months Online concentrations: generalist/electives On campus requirements: no Accreditation- The Isenberg School of Management at UMass-Amherst is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and offers students the alternatives for a full-time, hybrid, or online MBA. The university is regionally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Admission- The Isenberg School of Management online MBA program only takes students with business experience and seriousness for the business world. The following are the guidelines for applying to the school: Three or more years of post-undergraduate business experience is preferred Submit graduate school application Personal statement GMAT or GRE – no minimum score required Two letters of recommendation (professional preferred) Transcripts from previous colleges or universities attended Résumé Application fee Perspective students with terminal degrees or a Fifth Pathway Certificate; or have completed a Master’s Degree with a GPA of 3.75 or higher and 8 years of work history are eligible to have the GMAT waived. There are additional requirements for international students. The program participates in benefits for students with a military background. UMass of Amherst was selected as a top “military friendly” school by GI Jobs for 2012 and was chosen as a “Best for Vets College” for 2011 by Military Times EDGE. Tuition and Financial Aid- The online MBA costs $750 per credit hour along with a non-refundable $45 registration fee per semester. The fall and spring semesters are 14 weeks in length, and the summer semester is eight weeks. |
