Yes of course, you are eligible to apply for the NET of the SLET examination after completing Master of Engineering. The eligibility conditions for these examinations are as following:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.

Age limit:
For Junior Research Fellowship: You should not be more than 28 years as on 01.12.2011. 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories candidates and to women applicants.

Examination fees:
General Candidates: Rs.450/-
Other Backward Classes: Rs.225/-
SC/ST/PH/VH candidates: Rs.110/-

Yes you are eligible for NET exam after completing your master of engineering

NET stands for National Eligibility Test, it is conducted by CBSE

Here are the eligibility criteria of it

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination with at least 55% marks from recognized University

Age limit
Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years

Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit
