No, right now there is no opening for SWO or Single Window Operator ‘A’ vacancies under Clerical (S.W.O. -A) in Allahabad Bank.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the post of Clerks are required to have passes Graduation or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or those who possess a Degree in any discipline from recognized University are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:
Candidate’s age must be between 18 to 28 years

Age Relaxation:
5 years for SC/ST candidates,
3 years for OBC candidates,
10 years for PWD candidates,
5 years for persons domiciled in J&K,
3 years for Ex-Serviceman candidates,
9 years for Widows

Selection Procedure


Allahabad Bank will follow a two-tier selection process

a. Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS:
Candidates should have appeared at the CWE conducted by the IBPS and should have a valid score card issued by the IBPS.
Candidates should have obtained the minimum category wise cut-off in the total weighted Standard score for the State/UT applied for on securing the qualifying, category-wise marks in each objective test.

b. Interview to be conducted by the Bank:
Depending upon the number of vacancies only a certain number of eligible candidates in the descending order of total weighted standard score in CWE in respective category of the State/UT fulfilling the cut-offs will be called for the interview

The interview of 35 marks is conducted to assess the attributed of the candidates like intelligence, motivation, communication skills etc

The minimum qualifying marks for interview would be 40% (14 for general category), 35% (12 for reserved category) candidates

Candidates not qualifying in the interview will not be considered for final selection
Final selection will be made State/UT wise

Only those candidates who have secured qualifying marks in each objective test and the stipulated minimum TWS score in the CWF and also the minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be considered for final selection

State-wise final merit list will be prepared in respect of eligible candidates comprising all categories by adding the total weighted standard score (TWS score) obtained by them in the common written examination (CWE) and interview marks and the same will be strictly in descending order of merit

In case two or more candidates secure same aggregate marks, they will be ranked on the basis of their seniority in age
