The All India Pg Medical Entrance Exam is conducting body conducting All India Pg Medical Entrance Exam for every session.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will conduct AIIMS PG entrance exam for admissions to Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes.

AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted twice a year for admissions to approximately 183 MD/MS programmes in Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences and 7 MDS programmes each in its January and July session.

Last date for filling online application September 26, 2016

AIIMS PG 2017 January session online exam date November 13, 2016
AIIMS PG 2017 January session result November 19, 2016
First counseling December 8, 2016
Second counseling December 19 , 2016
Open counseling January 24, 2017

Paper pattern:

Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)
Number of Questions: 200 Objective based multiple choice questions
Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response
Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response
Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus for MBBS programmes
