I completed 12th with PCM and want to apply for NTA (National Testing Agency) IIT JEE exam searching for details. Will you please provide me All India JEE important dates so that I can apply on time also provide me also tell what the pattern of exam so I can prepare well?

JEE Main 2019 will be organized by NTA (National Testing Agency). It is a national level entrance test.

It is organized to offer admission in BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Plan courses.

All India JEE important dates:

Notification release 4th week of November 2018
Application form available 1st week of December 2018
Correction in uploaded image starts 2nd week of December 2018
Mock test available 3rd week of December 2018
Last date for application submission 1st week of January 2019
Application correction period 2nd to 4th week of January 2019
Release of admit card 2nd week of March 2019
Exam date (offline mode) 2nd week of April 2019
Exam date (online mode) 3rd week of April 2019
Display of OMR sheet & answer key Last week of April 2019
Result/AIR declaration (paper 1) Last week of April 2019
Declaration of AIR (paper 2) Last week of May 2019
Counselling registration 3rd week of June 2019

JEE Main 2019 Exam Pattern

The examination will comprise of two papers, i.e. paper 1 (for B.E/B.Tech) and paper 2 (for B.Arch/B.Planing).

The detailed JEE Main exam pattern for both papers is mentioned below:

Exam Mode: The examination will be organized in both online (computer based) and offline (pen and paper based) mode for paper 1.

Paper 2 will be conducted in offline mode only.

Type of Questions (Paper 1): The question paper will comprise of objective type questions.
Type of Questions (Paper 2): Mathematics and aptitude section will be of objective type questions and drawing test will be subjective.
Duration: The total exam duration will be three hours.
Medium: The question paper will be asked in English and Hindi language for all exam cities and English, Hindi and Gujarati languages for exam cities in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

Marking Scheme: Four marks will be provided for each correct answer.

Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Pattern for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech):

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Exam 2018 was conducted on 8th April 2018 and 15th & 16th April 2018.

The admit card of the exam is available from 12th March 2018.

I am telling you the process to get the admit card

Go to the official website of JEE Main Exam 2018

Then click on the link Download Admit Card of JEE(Main) - 2018

Then a new page will open




On this page, enter the following details-

Application Number :
Password :
Enter security pin :
Security Pin

Then click on login

Then you will get your admit card

Take print out of it.
