All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Entrance Examination (AIIMS MBBS) is considered as one of the most competitive undergraduate medical entrance exam of India. The exam is considered as one of the toughest medical entrance exam of India because of its questions, seats, number of applicants, etc. Important dates for AIIMS 2016 MBBS Exam Last Date of Submitting the Online Application Form/Registration March 15, 2016 at 05:00 PM Registration status along with rejection in applications March 30, 2016 Deadline for complying with errors in the application form April 08, 2016 Admit Card can be downloaded from May 02, 2016 AIIMS MBBS 2016 Exam Date 29th May, 2016 (Sunday) Results will be declared on 14th June 2016 (Tuesday) Counseling date first round July 4 to 8, 2016 Counseling date second round August 04, 2016 Counseling date third round September 6, 2016 Open counseling date September 27, 2016 AIIMS 2016 MBBS Eligibility Criteria For Indian Nationals – The age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission One must have cleared the 12th Grade, under the 10 + 2 Scheme or Senior qualifications School Certificate Exam or Intermediate Science (I. Sc.) or an equivalent exam of a reputed University or Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. One also have scored minimum 60% aggregate marks for General and OBC; and 50% marks for SC or ST candidates in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. If have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the major subject and hoping to clear the exam with the required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. One is accepted only if give documentary proof or written evidence of passing the qualifying exam with the required subjects and percentage of marks on or before the date mentioned. For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)- If one is an OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 then is eligible to give the test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian Nationals is applicable and need to give proof of the same. For Foreign Nationals– For AIIMS New Delhi, only Foreign candidates who are selected by the Indian Government need to have attained at least aggregate 50% marks in all the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the Intermediate Science or an equivalent exam to be eligible for admission to the M. B. B. S. Course. Foreign candidates need not give the Competitive Entrance Exam. |
