I want to know about the Special Class Railway Apprentices' (SCRA) exam. please give lal detail about the exam ?

Special Class Railway Apprentices' (SCRA) exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission India for selecting eligible candidates for railway job .

Eligibility for exam:

Nationality

A candidate must be either:
A citizen of India, and not later than orst january,
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee

Age Limits :
17 years - 21 years

Educational Qualifications :

Candidate must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination and study Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects.

Exam Dates
Generally conducted in month of January.

Scheme of Examination:
1. The examination is conducted according to the following plan.

Part I Written examination carrying a maximum of 600 marks in the subjects as n below.

Part II Personality Test carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect of only those candidates who are declared qualified on the results of written examination.

2. The subjects of the written examination under Part I, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject/paper are as under :




3. The papers in all the subjects will consist of Objective (multiple choice answer) Type questions only. The Question Papers (Test Booklets) will be set in English only.

4. There will be negative marking for wrong answers marked by a candidate.
