Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) was founded in 1983 by Dr B.N. Mishra, it is one of the top engineering colleges and it is an autonomous institution of the Government of Delhi.

It is the only engineering college left under Delhi University after the formation of DCE to DTU.
