Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre was established by A.M.U. in 2010 empowered by Section 5(2)(C) of the A.M.U. (Amendment) Act,1981 and under Section 12(2) of the University Act. [Act XL 1920 and A.M.U. (Amendment) Act, 1972]

Eligibility
Candidates with at least 50% marks in B.A. / B.Sc. / B. Com. / B.Th. in aggregate and in the subject concerned and / or in the Masters Degree in Science / Social Sciences / Humanities, Bachelor in Engineering & Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks.

Note:
(a) One should have studied two school subjects at graduate / equivalent recognised Madarsa education level as main or subsidiary subjects.
(b) One with B. Sc. Home Science degree may offer only Home Science and one with B. Com degree may offer only Commerce as their Test subject.
(c) One with recognised Madarsah degree / qualification may offer Arabic / Persian / Urdu / Theology as Test subject.
(d) The Status (Internal / External) will only be determined on the basis of B.A. / B. Sc. / B. Com. / B. Th. Exam only
(e) Malayalam / Bengali subject will only be considered as School Subject at Malappuram / Murshidabad Centres respectively. These subjects will not be considered as School Subject for AMU Aligarh and Kishanganj Centre

Selection Process
Through Admission Test. Admission shall be offered through Counselling.

Test Paper Details
There shall be one paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions on
a. Reasoning 25 marks
b. General English 25 marks
c. Teaching Aptitude 25 marks
d. Current Educational Affairs 25 marks
