Is Aligarh Muslim University A Minority Institution
I have heard a lot about the Aligarh Muslim University and planning to pursue PG degree from here want details about this university. Will you tell me is this university a minority university tell me accreditation of this university and also tell me list of faculties available in university?

Aligarh Muslim University is a public university funded by the Government of India. It was originally established by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan as Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College in 1875. No Aligarh Muslim University is not a Minority Institution. AMU is accredited by NAAC. List of faculties available here: The University has 12 Faculties viz. Agricultural Sciences Arts Commerce Engineering & Technology Law, Life Sciences Medicine Management Studies & Research Science Social Sciences Theology Unani Medicine each comprising of several Departments of Studies.
