Airman in Air force is considered equivalent to a Soldier in Army. An airman is either of technical and non technical trades. Here I am providing you the Indian Air Force Recruitment Details for Airmen Posts: Eligibility criteria: Upper Age Limit 21 Years a citizen of India, or a subject of Bhutan, or a subject of Nepal, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Intermediate/ 10+2 or its equivalent in any stream/ subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Application Fee No Application Fee Selection Process: Written Test Physical Fitness Test Interview Medical Examination Important Dates:  Physical Standard Minimum Height: 152.5 cm. Chest Expanded chest measurement should not be less than 75 cm with minimum range of expansion of 5 cm. Weight: Corresponding to height and age. Vision : At least 6/ 12 in each eye without glasses or 6/6 in better eye and 6/36 in the worse eye without glasses, correctible to 6/6 in each eye with glasses. Normal hearing. General Health: Free from all communicable diseases and cardiovascular, medical or surgical deformities or infection.
